Day 1: CASABLANCA

Your Berber driver/guide will meet you at the airport, tour
Casablanca, travel to Rabat- Imperial City and present day capital
of Morocco, to a Restored Palace (ryad) in Rabat with dinner. |

Day 2: RABAT to FEZ
| |
Tour Rabat and travel to Meknes-the youngest Imperial City in
Morocco. Visit Volubilis, 100 b.c. Roman Ruins before traveling on
to Fes to your Ryad. A Folklore Show with Multi-course Moroccan
Dinner is included this evening where you meet your official guide
to plan your tour of Fes the next day. |

Day 3: FEZ

Tour FeZ with Official Guide. Dinner at Ryad.

Day 4: FEZ to MERZOUGA
| |
Travel to Merzouga to Haven La Chance Desert Hotel, by the sand
dunes. Passing through Ifrane, Atlas Mountains Ziz Valley. In the
cedar forests of Azrou, feed apples and peanuts to the Barbary Apes
in their natural environment. Sleep in tents or in hotel rooms or on
the terrace of hotel. All meals included in desert. |

Day 5: MERZOUGA SAND DUNES

Visiting Berber village of Merzouga and lunch with our Berber
family. Leave for camel excursion in afternoon and spend the night
in the sand dunes under the stars. Campfire Dinner. |

Day 6: MERZOUGA to OUARZAZATE
| |
YPass through Rissani, Berber villages as you travel to Todra Gorge
for lunch. Perhaps hike here. Ryad in Ouarzazate with Dinner. |

Day 7: OUARZAZATE to MARRAKESH
| |
Travel through the Kasbah Trail and High Atlas Mountains to
Marrakech. Ryad with Dinner. |

Day 8: MARRAKESH

Tour Marrakech. Medinas and Museums, Gardens with your official
guide.. “Fantasia” Berber Horseman Show with Dinner. |

Day 9: MARRAKESH

Your driver/guide escorts you to Marrakech airport for your

We prefer using ryads that are restored places whenever possible and
4* hotels unless only moderate, clean ones are available.
Continental or Buffet Breakfasts and 8 Dinners plus all meals in the
Desert are included. Transportation is a new comfortable 4 x 4 or
SUV vehicle with an English-speaking driver who is your overall
guide throughout the trip. He meets you at the airport and escorts
you throughout your tour. There are local official guides in Fes and
Marrakech, and our Berber family and friends in the desert. Included
are Entrance Fees to Kasbahs, Historic Sites, Museums and Mosques;
Overnight Desert Camel excursion; Dinner/Folklore Shows in Fes and
Marrakech. Not included are tips, alcoholic drinks or travel
insurance that is required. |
